With over 40 years of experience as a lawyer, professor, municipal judge, arbitrator, and mediator, I bring a unique combination of legal expertise, industry insight, and advanced mediation training to help parties resolve disputes effectively and efficiently.

Teaching and Sharing Knowledge

In addition to my legal practice, I’ve taught oil & gas law, negotiation, and regulatory frameworks at the University of Colorado Denver, Western State Colorado University, and Colorado Mountain College. I’ve also had the privilege of lecturing internationally in Nigeria, China, and Canada.

Teaching sharpened my ability to break down complex issues, foster collaboration, and build consensus — skills that directly strengthen my approach to mediation and arbitration.

Advanced Mediation Training

To complement my decades of experience, I completed Advanced Mediation Training through VirNet Virtual Mediation and the Mediation Network of North America. This program is known for its rigorous instruction, interactive role-play simulations, and personalized feedback from seasoned practitioners.

By combining this training with my deep subject-matter expertise, I bring both industry knowledge and modern conflict resolution techniques to the table.

I’ve participated in more than 250 mediations and personally served as a mediator for over 25 years. Today, I focus on:
